Over the years, the contents of my park bag have changed a lot depending on the ages of my kids, but these 10 items are always with me no matter what!
- Lots of bandaids – you will be walking a ton in Disney. Even shoes that you think are broken in can start rubbing!
- Travel size deodorant – this is a must, especially when it’s really hot!
- Ponchos – It rains a good bit in Orlando and purchasing a poncho in Disney is very expensive. Order them from Amazon or get them at your local dollar store. Ponchos are great to cover up your stroller when it rains also! If you have littles, grab a couple extras!
- Sunscreen – there is not much shade in most of the parks so sunscreen is a must! Don’t forget your lips!
- Wet Wipes and hand sanitizer – it’s probably the former nurse in me, but I can’t go without these!
- Water bottle – quick service restaurants will give you free cups of ice water. Ask for a few and full up your bottles! I’m a big fan of collapsible bottles!
- Snacks – Hear me out on this one. You SHOULD absolutely buy snacks in Disney. They are amazing…but don’t buy granola bars, pretzels (stuff like that). Bring your own and save your money for the good stuff!
- Ziplock bags – these come in handy for so many reasons! Wet clothes, wet ponchos, left over food, phones if you’re going on a water ride. Bring a variety of sizes.
- Portable charger – you will be using your phone more than ever in the parks. Do not forget this!
- Pain reliever – sore feet (and backs if you’re old like me) are hard to avoid in Disney!
