Where Do I Start? 3 Key Questions to Answer When You Plan a Trip to Disney

Planning a trip to Disney can be tricky! There are a lot of factors to consider! I like to break it down by starting with 3 key questions.

Planning a trip to Disney can be tricky! There are a lot of factors to consider! I like to break it down by starting with 3 key questions.

When do you want to travel?

The Walt Disney World calendar is full of special events. From Holidays to Run Disney Events to fun EPCOT Festivals, there are so many events that you may want to experience on your Disney vacation…and some you may want to avoid!

Are you looking for dates that have the lowest prices? Pricing in Disney is pretty complicated. There are a lot of factors that drive up the cost, not just one or two seasons. Major holidays can drive up the cost, but so can other Disney specific events – sometimes, but not always. It’s important to look at the Disney events calendar and take this into consideration when you are trying to find dates with the lowest prices.

How many days do you want to stay?

This is such an important one! Do you want to visit all four parks? Do you want to visit water parks? Do you want days to rest and relax in between? I personally think a rest day is so important. If you have little ones, this can make a huge difference in your trip! But even if you don’t, you won’t regret taking a day to let your body recover. You will be walking for miles and miles every day! When you compare the price of your vacation with a rest day and without, you will see that there isn’t too much of a price difference because that extra day doesn’t have park tickets! If that extra day fits in your budget, use it to relax, to head to Disney Springs for a few hours, and/or to enjoy your resort! Disney’s pools are so much fun!

What is your budget?

Disney has four main price categories, Value, Moderate, Deluxe, and Deluxe Villa. In addition to this, we have hotel and resort options that are off Disney property that may be a good option for your family. If you do choose an off property location, be sure to take into consideration extra costs that may come with staying off property such as shuttle fees and theme park parking.

This may seem like a lot, but that’s what I’m here for! We will work through these 3 key questions together and find the perfect vacation dates for your family!
