A New Land at Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom

Adventure awaits in this tropical new space! Experience exciting attractions and a brand new restaurant in this lush, lived-in land!

Guests will be able to experience the magnificence of the Tropical Americas in a brand-new land headed to Walt Disney World‘s Animal Kingdom. Welcome to Pueblo Esperanza!

This new land will be beautiful, lush, and feel lived in, with a long, rich history. It will feature a large fountain in the center where the villagers like to gather and tell stories. A large carousel with wooden characters will feature beloved Disney animals from your favorite stories. Plus, there’s a large hacienda which will be one of the largest quick-service restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort.

The first-ever “Encanto” themed attraction will be built in this land, and guests will be able to ride through Antonio’s rainforest room inside of the Casita. You never know what member of the Madrigal family you might bump into…

Guests will also be able to experience the world of “Indiana Jones” in an all-new, reimagined attraction. In this attraction, guests will follow Indy through the exploration of a Mayan temple…and rumor has it there’s a mythical creature deep inside.

Construction on this new land is set to begin this fall, but the project will not be completed until 2027. The area of DinoLand USA will eventually go extinct to make room for this new area of the park. For now, guests can still ride Dinosaur as an exact closing date has not been announced.
