Neuschwanstein Castle
In 1935, Walt Disney and his wife, Lily, took a two month European vacation that included seeing the famous Bavarian landmark, Neuschwanstein Castle. This castle later became the inspiration for Sleeping Beauty’s Castle at Disneyland.
