Grab your recruits and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime! Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences, has announced an expansion plan for Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park…and the best part? It includes two brand-new, dynamic and fun attractions.

The first attraction will be called “Avengers Infinity Defense.” On this ride, guests will go on a multi-world adventure where they “jump” between worlds in search of important technology. Guests will travel to iconic locations like Asgard, Wakanda, and New York City alongside their favorite heroes. But they better be on guard…King Thanos is out wreaking havoc.

The second attraction will be called “Stark Flight Lab.” In the lab, guests will be able to “test out” new technology while sitting in a two person pod. A robot arm will grab each pod and whirl it into a simulated flight. The experiments will be led by Mr. Stark himself, as Robert Downey Jr. will reprise his role as Tony Stark for the new attractions.

So what do you think…are you up for the challenge? Development for the Avengers Campus expansion is already underway, and Josh D’Amaro told guests at D23 that construction starts next year. A final opening date for either attraction has not been confirmed. These new additions will double the size of the land and will add more of the Marvel Universe to Disney California Adventure Park.
