The parade has been described as a “star-kissed constellation of Disney dreams” that is sure to inspire millions of guests in a meaningful and emotional way.
The release of this announcement comes from D23, an event in Anaheim, California where Disney fans gather as the Walt Disney Company showcases its new developments in its theme parks, entertainment, and other experiences around the globe. Disney performers Rachel Potter and Eden Espinosa took the stage to announce the new spectaculars, parades, and shows coming to the Disney Parks around the globe. They explained the new parade coming to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom by saying, “Something new is on its way. Disney’s legacy of innovation in nighttime entertainment goes back more than 50 years to the Main Street Electrical Parade. Now this new show, Disney Starlight, will add to that legacy. It will use the latest technology to tell new stories with characters you love.”
“Disney Starlight” will be brought to life by the magic of the Blue Fairy and will feature characters from beloved Disney stories like Peter Pan, Encanto, Frozen, and more! This parade is an exciting announcement as the Magic Kingdom has not seen a nighttime parade since 2016.
