The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has been a part of Universal Orlando for fourteen years, and next year, the universe is expanding. Guests will be able to travel deeper into the Wizarding World at the new land, Ministry of Magic. The storytelling will be brought to an entire new level inside this land, and guests will be fully immersed in a world they so deeply desire to visit. Ministry of Magic is scheduled to open in 2025 within Epic Universe.
Explore the magical streets of 1920’s Paris, shop for beautiful new wands at Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique, see the wonders awaiting inside the tent of Le Cirque Arcanus, and for the first time ever, step inside the British Ministry of Magic! As guests walk into the atrium of the Ministry of Magic, they will see the Fountain of Magical Brethren statue restored to its rightful state, flying memos swirling through the atrium, and finally, the enchanted weather ceiling above. The Ministry will be full scale, in its full glory, and according to Universal Creative Scott Verble, it is “the biggest thing that we’ve ever built.”
A brand new attraction, “Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry” will be located inside of the Ministry of Magic, and the journey begins inside the atrium. Dolores Umbridge will be standing trial, and guests will be able to experience it. Throughout the queue for the attraction, guests will see scenes from the films and scenes that have never been seen before. There are so many layers of elements for the new ride, including a lift that will take guests into the courtroom after they tour the various scenes in the queue. The ride will be a truly thrilling experience where guests will go “off course” and experience different departments inside the Ministry of Magic.
