Celebrity Cruises have perfected luxury at sea. The designs of their ships are gorgeous and the top-notch service they provide while on board is nothing short of extraordinary. They have an impressive crew-to-passenger ratio, allowing them to cater to your every need which will leave you feeling like royalty. It’s like staying in a floating luxury hotel but with the most stunning ocean view and endless amenities.
Gourmet Dining Experiences
If you’re a foodie like me then you’re in for a treat. Celebrity has some of the best culinary experiences at sea, crafted by Michelin-starred chefs. Le Petit is a specialty restaurant where they take you through an animated story projected right on your table as they bring you each dish that correlates with the story. I went with my grandmother & 11-Year-old daughter, and we all had an amazing time so I would say it is entertaining for all ages. Something I am looking forward to trying on a future cruise is the Magic Carpet that is on the Edge Class ships. It’s a floating platform restaurant that moves between decks giving the most amazing dinner views. Another thing I want to bring up about the edge series Is how they’ve taken the traditional main dining room and split it into four different main dining rooms with different theming and menus giving you more options that are included in your cruise fare for dining. Whether you are dining at the main restaurant or opting for a specialty meal, the quality and variety of options they offer will please everyone.
Specialty Drinks on Board
The bars and restaurants on the celebrity ship all had different and unique drink menus including zero proof cocktails which were delish. I would suggest checking out the Martini Bar & the World Class Bar on the ship for their unique options. The Martini Bar is a whole experience. It has an ice bar top to keep the martinis cold and the bartenders are not just bartenders but performers as well! When making the drinks they flip the bottles and shakers in the air and do some cool tricks. It’s a must see for me. The Martini Bar menu does vary from ship to ship, but my 3 martini recommendations are the Lemon-basil-aide, Banana Foster, and Toffee Apple. They were dangerously delicious! The World Class bar gives an upscale drink experience with a creative twist on top shelf liquor. The American Pie Cocktail was one we opted for during our visit, which included Bulleit Bourbon and finished off being smoked with some applewood to give it a smokey flavor. These drinks are included in the premium drink package, however if you have the classic drink package and do not feel like it is worth the upgrade to the premium you can pay the difference on what the classic drink package doesn’t cover.
High-Speed Internet with Starlink
Celebrity offers a premium internet via Starlink that allows you to video call and stream movies even in the middle of the ocean. This is an additional cost unless you are a retreat guest but is such an important benefit to me. Being able to stay connected to my family who are not on the ship. Plus it allows me to be able to stay in touch with my clients and still provide my services to them while I am on board. Some may say it’s crazy to want to work on vacation but for others this allows us to be away longer by allowing us to be available and stay connected to work we need.
All Inclusive Benefits
Celebrity offers an “All Included” cruise fare that includes the classic drink package and the classic Wi-Fi package. By choosing the “All Included” price when booking your cruise, you are usually saving money rather than getting the classic drink package & Wi-Fi package individually through the cruise planner later. Speaking of the All Included benefits, Group rates come with the classic drink package and classic Wi-Fi automatically adding more great benefits to booking as a group!
The Retreat: The Ultimate Luxury Experience
For those who crave exclusivity, Celebrity offers Retreat Suites that come with spacious rooms, private exclusive dining, butler service, and more to give you a VIP experience. Retreat suites also include benefits like premium drink packages, specialty dining, and more.
Cruising on Celebrity with Kids
It’s not a secret that Celebrity Cruise line caters more to the adults but that doesn’t mean you should steer clear of booking a Celebrity Cruise with your kids. As a mother of 3, we took a 4-night cruise on the Celebrity Silhouette for Spring Break, and our kids had an amazing time. Celebrity Cruise line offers a complimentary kids program called Camp at Sea which has over 500 rotating activities that the staff chooses from to customize for the kids on each sailing. They also had plenty of things to keep the kids busy when they were not doing planned activities like Xbox stations and table tennis. They played games with the kids where they could earn tickets which can be traded for prizes on the last night of the cruise.
